BAKER CITY – Driving a Go-Kart (or any vehicle) without headlights or reflectors at night is never a good idea. Doing so while having an out-of-state arrest warrant is an even worse idea. Oregon State Police recently arrested Lacey Marie Foersterling of Huntington in Baker City due to this exact scenario. The arrest specifically took place at around 8:35 p.m. on September 28 at 515 Campbell Street in Baker City, just off I-84. The OSP description of the arrest (as provided in a recent press log) is as follows:
“A Trooper observed a go-kart traveling down Campbell Street near I-84 with no lights or reflectors. A traffic stop was conducted in the same area and the driver returned with a valid FTA-warrant out of Idaho (Case #CR01-20-25322). The driver was arrested and transported to the Baker County Jail and lodged on the warrant. A friend of the driver took possession of the go-kart which was not towed.”
Foersterling was charged with “Fugitive from Other State.”
