Harney County Sheriff’s Office has a new Jail Commander

HARNEY COUNTY-Congratulations to Harney Counties new Jail Commander, Lieutenant Aaron Todd.

Lt. Todd has been with the Harney County Sheriff’s Office for 8 years and was promoted to Sergeant in 2021.

Lt. Todd was appointed and sworn in Thursday by Sheriff Jenkins. Outgoing Jail Commander Lt. Worley handed off the Lieutenant badge to finalize the transition.

Harney County Sheriff’s Office states, “Lt. Worley has done amazing things for the jail. Words cannot express the gratitude we have for your service and dedication. We look forward to working with you in your new capacity. Congratulations to you on your new adventure.”
