Myra Road South Extension Project virtual open house now available

WALLA WALLA – The city of Walla Walla announces the Myra Road South Extension Project virtual open house is available now through Oct. 4 at https://www.gowallawalla.us/myra-south.
The project will unlock over 50 acres of commercial and residential zoned vacant land just south of State Route 125, encouraging future economic development.
According to city staff, the project is within the city’s tax increment area and sets the foundation for increased revenue and economic growth, including commercial and residential development. Over 100 new housing units are anticipated in this area as well as retail development which will support increased shopping opportunities and job creation.
The city of Walla Walla invites residents to learn more about the anticipated benefits and schedule of the project as well as get answers to frequently asked questions and provide an opportunity to ask questions and leave comments.
