Eastern Oregon counties and tribes received nearly $111,500 from Oregon Cultural Trust

EASTERN OREGON – The Oregon Cultural Trust recently announced that it had approved roughly $3.5 million dollars in 2025 grant awards to 148 organizations across the state, including non-profit organizations, county and tribal governments, and partner organizations for the trust. Of these, four Eastern Oregon nonprofits are set to receive a combined total of $73,901.

However, 10 Eastern Oregon county and tribal governments are being included in the 2025 grant awards, for a combined total of $111,464. A full list of all recipients and the funds received is as follows:

  • Baker County: $10,770
  • Burns Paiute Tribe: $8,559
  • Confederated Tribes of Umatilla: $8,927
  • Grant County: $9,495
  • Harney County: $9,519
  • Malheur County: $12,922
  • Morrow County: $10,244
  • Umatilla County: $19,474
  • Union County: $12,031
  • Wallowa County: $9,523
