North Power Rural Fire Protection District receives Wildhorse Foundation Grant

NORTH POWDER– The North Powder Rural Fire Protection District was recently announced as the recipient of a $20,000 grant from the Wildhorse Foundation that allows them to obtain a Fire Command Vehicle. According to Chief Colby Thompson, this vehicle will be used for transport to trainings and meetings but will also be outfitted with a water supply and basic tools that can be used for rapid response when needed.
