HERMISTON – Schools within the Hermiston School District are holding open houses at all of their schools Monday. Assistant Superintendent Jake Bacon said the times of the open houses are staggered to make it easier for parents of students in different grade levels.
Elementary school open houses will be from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The two middle schools will hold open houses between 6-7 p.m. Open house at Hermiston High School is set for 6-7:30 p.m.
“Students will get their schedules and their class rosters and all that good stuff,” Bacon said. “We’ll have it ready to go at open house.”
Bacon urges any families who have not yet registered for the 2024-25 school year to do so as soon as possible. A call to the district office or the applicable schools gets the process rolling.
“We are unable to assign transportation services until that registration occurs,” he said.
