BAKER/UNION COUNTIES – (Release from Union County) Effective immediately, all Level 1 (Be Ready) and Level 2 (Be Set) evacuation levels associated with the Boulder Creek Fire have been lifted. Residents who were previously under these notices may now return to normal activities.
While this area is predominantly wilderness, it is a popular destination for outdoor recreation. The safety of everyone who enjoys this space was our utmost concern during the fire response. We appreciate the cooperation of the public in staying clear of the area and allowing emergency personnel to perform their duties.
We extend our gratitude to the firefighting crews, emergency personnel, and the community for their cooperation and efforts during this event.
