Burns and Crane students have a chance for the Julio & Jo Scholarship

HARNEY COUNTY-The Julio & Jo Scholarship Committee has applications available for ONE $1,500 scholarship.
Applicants must be graduates of Burns or Crane High Schools, or obtained a GED after attending these schools. The applicants must be enrolled in, or have completed one term in a state, private, community college, or have been accepted into a vocational school. Current seniors at Burns or Crane do not qualify.
The scholarship committee will select the recipient after reviewing the applications. Payment will be made to the financial aid office of the institution the recipient is attending.
The recipient will be announced on September 3, 2024. This will be the 27th year these scholarships have been awarded.
Applications are available at the Harney County Library or from Vicki Taylor, 541-589-0464.
Fully completed applications must be received by Vicki Taylor, JJUMSC, P.O. Box 484, Hines, OR 97738 no later than August 24, 2024.
