Union County man arrested for alleged sexual abuse of teen girl

LA GRANDE – A Union County man faces multiple felonies after being arrested for allegedly having a inappropriate relationship with a 14-year-old girl. 66-year-old Greg Bruce Orton was arrested by La Grande Police on Friday, August 9. Police say his arrest was the result of a one-year investigation. The case was presented to a Union County Grand Jury last week, which resulted in the secret indictment for his arrest.
Orton is charged with one count of First-Degree Sexual Abuse, two counts of the Third-Degree Sexual Abuse, one count of Luring a Minor and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Minor. Police say Orton is cooperating.
