Umatilla County evac levels change

Following this morning’s briefing on the Battle Mountain Complex Fire, evacuation levels have been updated.

Evacuation Levels Removed:

  • Zone: UMC-317
  • East of Hideaway Creek (including a small southern portion of Mud Creek), south of OR 244 (Ukiah-Hilgard Highway), and west of the Umatilla/Union county line

All Other Levels Remain the Same:

Level 3 (Go Now – Red):

  • Zones: UMC-307, UMC-311, UMC-323, UMC-325
  • South Road 53 and west of Highway 395, extending south to the county lines on the west and south side, and the entire area south of FS Road 52, five miles east of Highway 395 S, and down to the county line.

Level 2 (Be Set – Yellow):

  •  Zones: UMC-309, UMC-327
  •  North of Road 53, south of Road 241, east of Road 53 and Road 5314, and west of Highway 395
  •  The entire bottom southeast corner of Umatilla County, including the area of Double Snag and Upper Winom area

Level 1 (Be Ready – Green):

  •  Zone: UMC-319

The Soap Hill area south of the City of Ukiah, on the east side of Highway 395 for five miles, and down to FS Road 52
