UMATILLA COUNTY – Emergency Manager Sage DeLong reports there have been changes for some of the evacuation levels on the Battle Mountain Complex of wildfires.
Evacuation levels for the entire city of Ukiah, the area east of Ukiah, south of Highway 244, and the area west of the northern portion of Mud Creek and Hideaway Creek have been removed.
The Soap Hill area south of Ukiah on the east side of Highway 395 for five miles and to Forest Road 52 has been downgraded to Level 1 (Get Ready) as well as the zone titled UMC-319. All other evacuation levels remain the same.
Level 3 (Go Now) orders still apply to zones UMC-307, 311, 323, and 325; as well as for south of Road 53 and west of Highway 395 to the county lines on the west and south side, and the entire area south of Forest Road 52, five miles east of Highway 395 and down to the county line.
