La Grande Police announce street closures for Crazy Days

LA GRANDE — The La Grande Police Department has announced a series of street closures to accommodate the Crazy Days event this weekend. Residents and visitors should be aware of the following closures:
Friday, July 19, 2024
Depot Street (between Adams Avenue and the nearest alleyway toward Washington Avenue) will be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday, July 20, 2024
Adams Avenue (between 4th Street and Greenwood Street) will be closed from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Chestnut, Depot, Elm, Fir, and Greenwood streets will be closed on both sides of Adams Avenue to the nearest alleyway during the same period.
The police department advises residents to remove any parked vehicles from these areas during the closure periods. Event coordinators are responsible for setting up barricades.
“We thank the community for their cooperation and encourage everyone to enjoy the Crazy Days events,” said the department in a Facebook post.
