DNR, Umatilla National Forest, WW County to discuss wildfire prevention

WALLA WALLA – Featured speakers from the Washington Department of Natural Resources, Umatilla National Forest, Walla Walla County Fire District No. 4, and Walla Walla County Emergency Management will present host a free discussion tomorrow (Tuesday) titled “Wildfire: From Forest to Your Front Door.”

The event will cover some of the resources available to make the neighboring landscape more fire-resilient and discuss how the local community can become more involved in the management and response to wildfires.

The discussion will be held at Burwood Brewing, 1120 E Street from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The event is free to all attendees and appetizers will be provided.
