JOHN DAY, PRAIRIE CITY AND HINES (Released by U.S. Forest Service)-The Malheur National Forest has issued a trail closure for the Craft Cabin Trail #319 on the Emigrant Creek Ranger District. To protect public health and safety, fire managers have closed the Craft Cabin Trail due to fire activity and fire suppression operations. This closure will be effective July 9, 2024 through December 31, 2024, unless rescinded sooner.
