LA GRANDE — UPS permanently closed its Customer Center in La Grande on June 30, the company confirmed. The closure is part of a broader strategy to align with customer preferences, according to a statement from UPS.
The La Grande location is located at 3002 Gekeler Lane.
“We are closing select UPS Customer Centers to better align with our customers’ preferences,” the statement read. “We will continue our high standard of customer service through a wide range of resources available to our customers.”
Despite the closure, UPS assured customers they will still have access to a variety of shipping and drop-off options. In a statement, the company highlighted the availability of UPS Drop Boxes and more than 10,000 full-service retail shipping locations.
In La Grande, customers can use alternative locations such as Copies Plus at 1904 Adams Ave.
