IMBLER — A traffic stop in Union County led to the arrest of a Hermiston man for multiple offenses, including failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements, according to Oregon State Police.
A Trooper stopped a black Ford pickup at milepost 11 on westbound Highway 82 on June 20. The driver, identified as Travis Leroy Grigsby, 44, of Hermiston, was found to be driving with a suspended license, without insurance, and with a switched license plate.
Further investigation revealed that Grigsby was out of compliance with sex offender registration laws. He had failed to file his annual report and had not reported a change of residence, both violations under Oregon law. He was arrested and lodged in the Union County Jail. The pickup was impounded.
A passenger in the vehicle, Rose Renea Bruce, 37, also of Hermiston, was arrested and charged, though the specific charges were not detailed in the initial report.
