FLORHAM PARK, NJ – Andrew Peasley’s first month as a professional football player was a successful one.
Peasley, the former La Grande High star and Wyoming quarterback, completed his first minicamp for the NFL’s New York Jets this week. Peasley signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Jets in April.
Peasley tells Elkhorn Media Group that minicamp was a “great experience” and that he’s ready for the fall training camp, which begins in July and lasts until the beginning of the NFL season.
Peasley is currently listed third on the team’s depth chart at quarterback, behind four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers and longtime NFL quarterback Tyrod Taylor.
