ONTARIO – (Release from the Oregon Department of Transportation) The Ontario DMV office will be closed June 25 through June 28, so we can move to a new and larger location to meet the needs for the community’s growth.
After 40 years in the DMV’s current location on SW Seventh Place, the community in Ontario and Malheur counties has outgrown the DMV office space. The new location at 215 E. Lane N. will have nearly double the space as the current location – going from 2,090 square feet to 4,050 square feet.
The Ontario DMV has been at its current location since June 1984.
After the closure for the move, the new Ontario office will reopen July 1. Office hours will remain the same, whether you’ve made an appointment or just drop by:
As a reminder, DMV offices will be closed for the Juneteenth holiday on June 19 and for Independence Day on July 4.
Before you visit a DMV office, see if you can get the service you need online at DMV2U.Oregon.gov. Road closures or inclement weather can still impact service hours, so check status before you go at OregonDMV.com
