Burns and Hines Fire Departments contain 2 fires

HARNEY COUNTY-The Burns and Hines Fire Departments were hard at work last night when a small brush fire started from a burn barrel behind Fairview Heights in Burns. Units from Burns and Hines responded quickly and were able to knock it out before it could affect any structures.
A few hours later Burns Fire was at it again when they responded to an illegal burn in the alley way near Pierce and Imperial in Burns.
If you are going to burn, make sure you have a burn permit and make sure you contact the Harney County Dispatch at 541-573-6156 to report your burn.
