SALEM – The Oregon Secretary of State reminds voters that their ballots must be returned by 8 p.m. May 21. People still have some time to mail the ballots back if they are sure they will be postmarked by election day.
Ballots can also be returned to any Oregon county clerk’s office, even if it’s not the county in which the voter is registered. They will ensure delivery. There are also a number of drop boxes located throughout Umatilla and Morrow counties.
Those who may have lost their ballots can report it to their county elections office. That’s also the place to go when voters have questions about the ballots themselves.
Voters in Umatilla County can call 541-278-6254, or call https://www.co.umatilla.or.us/departments/elections for drop box locations or other questions.
Residents of Morrow County can call Clerk Bobbi Childers at 541-676-5601 or visit https://www.co.morrow.or.us/clerk/page/elections-voting.
