One calf injured by wolves in Upper John Day Valley

GRANT & MORROW COUNTIES – The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife report another wolf depredation has occurred in Grant County. According to the investigation report, it has been confirmed that on Tuesday, May 7th, wolves from the Logan Valley pack injured one two-month-old calf on private property in the Upper John Day Valley. Nothing further was released regarding the depredation.

Also, two other calves are dead in Morrow County in two separate wolf killings, according to the report. Both attacks occurred in the Upper Rhea Creek area on private property by the Madison Butte wolf pack.
