BAKER COUNTY – (Release from the Baker County Sheriff’s Office) On the afternoon of May 11th, Baker County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch received a report of a male with a severe leg injury near the area of Black Mountain Road. Baker County Search and Rescue was deployed to the scene to assist with patient transport.
The male had been moving a piece of heavy equipment when he sustained the leg injury. Medics stabilized the patient, and he was loaded onto a side-by-side. SAR members transported the patient to the landing zone where he was transferred to Life Flight.
