MALHEUR COUNTY – A Flood Warning remains in effect in areas near the Owyhee River in Malheur County. The National Weather Service issued a flood warning on Friday, April 26 and continuing until May 2.
The NWS says high mountain snow melt and increased Owyhee reservoir releases will cause the river flows to remain high.
Minor flooding is currently underway, with the potential for further flooding along the Owyhee River below Owyhee Dam.
