Sheriff Todd McKinley was in the EMG Newsroom recently and said while he can’t give out details like what was stolen, he did say some good information has been coming in:
“We have had a plethora of phone calls, people calling in. Lots of information coming in regarding that. It’s a very active investigation, yet. Can’t give out much detail yet. [There is a] lot of speculation out in the community, but we are confident that our team will get that wrapped up and taken care of.”
A $5,000 reward is available for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case. The theft occurred on Saturday, March 30th, in the early morning hours when an item was drug to Highway 26, and later loaded into another vehicle.
