1 Calf injured in Wallowa County Wolf Depredation

WALLOWA COUNTY – ODFW have confirmed a new wolf depredation in Wallowa County. The incident was initially investigated on March 29 and occurred in the Lower Promise Road area on private land. According to ODFW, a single ten-day-old calf was injured in the incident. The depredation has been attributed to an as of yet unknown wolf, or possibly wolves, in the Sled Springs Wolf Management Unit.
