Fire destroys barn in Walla Walla

WALLA WALLA -Firefighters were dispatched at 6 a.m. Monday to the 100 block of Bearsville Lane in Walla Walla for reports of a barn on fire with flames showing.
The barn was destroyed by the fire and some livestock perished. No civilians or firefighters were injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Walla Walla County Fire District No. 4 was the primary responding agency, however, the Walla Walla Fire Department did provide mutual aid.
