KENNEWICK – The Kennewick Police Department reported Thursday that remains believed to be that of Oscar D. Munos, 38, of Kennewick were located Thursday in the Horn Rapids Park area in West Richland. His family has been notified and the remains are in the care of the Benton County Coroner. An autopsy is scheduled for today (Friday).
KPD has been investigating the suspicious death of Munos who was last seen alive on New Year’s Eve 2023.
On Wednesday, Michael Ray Golden, 23 of Kennewick pleaded guilty to second-degree murder at his arraignment and was sentenced to 19-and-a-half years in prison.
Two others, also from Kennewick, Kari Ann Golden, 54, and Coral Yazmin Ochoa Hernandez, 33, were arrested last month and charged with first-degree rendering criminal assistance.
Ochoa Hernandez is out on bail, while Kari Golden is still in custody.
