EASTERN OREGON – As part of its ongoing efforts to expand and modernize various healthcare avenues across the state, the Oregon Health Authority has announced 44 additional community-based organizations (CBOs) have received or will receive new Public Health Grants for the 2023-2025 cycle. This is part of a larger funding effort approved by the state legislature, worth nearly 17 million dollars. In total, 194 organizations across Oregon are being supported by CBO grants, with the funds going to support training and technical assistance as part of various community health projects. Of these, two organizations based within Eastern Oregon saw additional funds:
