PRAIRIE CITY – The Prairie City Preschool Program is thriving in its new space within the Bates Early Learning building at Prairie City Schools, according to teachers Jill Wright and Sabrina Howard. The two were on Coffee Time last week to discuss the preschool program.
Combined, the two teachers are able to take a total of twenty-five 3-and-4-year-olds into the program. While the classes are currently full, Mrs. Wright said the application process is easy to get your name on the list:
“There are actually two ways a family can register their child. The first way is on our school webpage, pcsd4.com. Or you can come straight to the lobby at our new facility and Lisa Schultz, our Receptionist, will be there and she can give you the paperwork.”
Mrs. Sabrina Howard said the children were especially impressed with their very own miniature toilets in the bathrooms, as well as lights that “magically” turn on when entering the room.
