GCSO conducts burglary and theft arrests Saturday

JOHN DAY – On Saturday, March 2nd, at approximately 8:52 a.m. the Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a location at 677 W Main Street for the report of a burglary. As a result, Cheyenne Marquez, 30, of John Day was arrested for Burglary.
Shortly thereafter, at 9:07 a.m., deputies responded to a location on East Second Street in John Day for the report of a theft. Michael Roberts, 46, of John Day was arrested for Theft.
Last Wednesday, both Roberts and Marquez were cited and released following a call for unwanted subjects and drug activity. We’ll provide official updates as they’re released.
