Confirmed: Wheeler County calf killed by wolves

WHEELER COUNTY – The ODFW recently released information regarding a wolf kill in Wheeler County. On February 16th, investigators confirmed that a wolf or wolves within the Fossil Wildlife Management Unit in Wheeler County had killed a 2-day old bovine calf. The depredation occurred on private property in Lost Valley.
