Delayed road project begins today in Walla Walla

WALLA WALLA – The previously mentioned road closure of Highland Road between Southeast Justice Avenue and Canterburg Way was delayed and will now occur today (Monday) at 7 a.m. through Wednesday at 5 p.m.

The Walla Walla Public Works Department said the road will be closed for utility work by a private contractor. This will be a full-time road closure with detours in place during the closure period, and traffic control will remain in place overnight.

Local residents and pedestrians will have access and are advised to use extreme caution when navigating in the area. Emergency vehicles will not have through access.
