Failure to report as sex offender lands man in Grant Co. Jail

CANYON CITY – It will be jail time for a man who failed to report as a sex offender, and, also, did not appear in court. According to Grant County Circuit Court documents, William Edward Hardy, Jr., 25, pleaded guilty to one count of Failure to Report as a Sex Offender, as well as three separate counts of Failure to Appear in the Second Degree.
Hardy was sentenced to a total of 90 days in jail. The guilty pleas were entered on February 20th.
