7th Street Complex parking lot closed in John Day

JOHN DAY – John Day Canyon City Parks and Recreation have gated the main parking lot at the 7th Street Complex. Last fall, the ODFW in conjunction with Parks & Rec. dredged out the 7th Street pond, and the pilings were temporarily placed in the parking lot. Much of the material has been removed, and the department stated on social media that, “The gate to the main entrance will be closed and locked until weather conditions improve, and there is adequate time for the ground to dry.”
