Bentz will vote to impeach Mayorkas

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Oregon Congressman Cliff Bentz (R-Ontario) has made his intentions clear regarding what he believes the fate of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas should be.
“House Republicans are committed to properly conducting the impeachment process,” he said. “Because Republicans followed regular order, there is now evidence in the record that the Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas intentionally flouted immigration law, disregarding his constitutional duty to secure America’s borders, Secretary Mayorkas deserves to be impeached, and it is my intention to vote in favor of impeachment.”
Earlier today (Wednesday) the House Homeland Security Committee voted to send articles of impeachment for Mayorkas to the floor of the House.
