Renovations on Keerins Hall in John Day are underway

JOHN DAY – Grant County Fairgrounds Manager Mindy Winegar was in KJDY and News102 Studios this morning, and provided listeners with an update on the Keerins Hall renovations underway:
“Today, we’ll be meeting with the engineer and the new City Manager, Melissa Bethel. We’re just going to walk through, and then Levi [Voigt] with Strux Engineering is working with a company for doing the mechanicals with our HVAC system, and all that. Then, we’ll start looking at electrical engineering, too.”
The EMG Studios is housed in Keerins Hall, and will also be getting upgraded floors, as well as a new heating/cooling system.
