PASCO – One person was transported to an area hospital for injuries sustained from a residential structure fire Tuesday night in Pasco.
The Pasco Fire Department with the assistance of Franklin County Fire District No. 3 were dispatched to a home on the 6300 block of Candlestick Drive. When firefighters arrived, the garage, along with several vehicles, were heavily involved in fire. Initial access to the garage was limited due to the involved vehicles in the driveway. The fire consumed the garage and began to extend into the attic over the living space of the home. Though firefighters were able to contain the fire to the garage and portions of the attic, the home also suffered extensive water and smoke damage.
No injuries to firefighters were reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation and is currently being treated as non-suspicious.
