Baker County Local, Ashton Letourneau, nominated to the United States Airforce Academy

BAKER COUNTY – In a recent press release, Representative Cliff Bentz named his nominations for Oregon students to various United States Service Academies. In total, fourteen students have been nominated to service academies, including, “the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado; the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York; the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland; and the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, New York.”
Among the Oregon Nominees is Baker County Local Ashton Letourneau, the only Eastern Oregon student to be nominated. The description of his nomination reads as follows:
“Ashton Letourneau, son of Jason and Cassi Letourneau of Baker City, attending Home School – nominated to the Unites States Air Force Academy.” Congratulations to Ashton for being given this opportunity. Final admissions will be announced this spring
