Harney County Sheriff’s Deputy helps out a community member

Harney County-The winter storm hit Harney County hard and fast. While the snow was coming down, there was a pickup that was broken down on Hwy 78 just outside of Burns on Saturday, January 13, 2023. With in minutes, a Harney County Sheriff’s Office pick-up pulls up and turn on his lights. The Sheriff’s Deputy gets out of his pick up in the dumping snow and help the owner of the broken down pickup push it off the road.

The Harney County Sheriff’s Deputy then pulls his pick up to the broken down pick-up and hooks a chain to him and pull the pick-up into town, out of the storm and to safety.
