JOHN DAY – Organizers were pleased with the turn out of the American Red Cross John Day Community’s first blood drive this year. A total of 55 units of blood were donated during the two-day event. This exceeded the Red Cross’ goal by over a dozen units.
The drive was held Tuesday, January 2nd and Wednesday, January 3rd at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in John Day. For more information on how, when, and where to donate blood, visit RedCrossBlood.org.
