PASCO – The Washington State Patrol reports one person died and another person was injured early Saturday morning in a single-vehicle collision on southbound U.S. 395 at milepost 36, 12 miles north of Pasco.
Troopers said Neizer G. Quijada Barragan, 18, of Pasco was driving too fast for conditions. The vehicle left the roadway and rolled before coming to a rest on its top. Barragan was not injured, but his 17-year old male passenger was killed. A 20-year old female passenger was also injured and transported to an area hospital.
The Washington State Patrol said neither passenger were wearing seatbelts. Quijada Barragan was not injured, however charges are pending against him.
