WALLA WALLA – The building permit and civil site work plans are currently under review for a four-story multi-use development at 170 North Ninth Avenue.
City of Walla Walla Development Services Director Preston Frederickson said the project consists of an extended stay hotel, commercial space, as well as 57 apartment units.
Located on the south side of the Mill Creek Channel, the project is subject to the city’s shoreline management master program. The Walla Walla City Council has approved Galloway Architecture Laboratory of Spokane’s shoreline substantial development permit and shoreline height variance for construction.
“We typically have a pre-construction meeting after the permit is issued but as the plans are still in review that has not been scheduled yet,” Frederickson said.
