DAYVILLE – The Eastern Oregon Regional Educator Network has selected Dayville School as one of the upcoming recipients of grant monies to be dedicated to housing. Superintendent Dr. Davida Irving broke the news on Friday to KJDY’s Coffee Time listeners:
“We were successfully selected as one of this year’s REN Sample Housing Project recipients, and that gives us up to $125,000. I will be meeting with the REN folks…to go over the program.”
Dr. Irving said the school has a piece of property on campus in mind, and the next big decision will be whether to go with a prefabricated house or build one from the ground up. The residence will be used to house a member of the Dayville School community.
