Three Eastern Oregon ag teachers recognized during the NAAE national convention

NORTHEAST OREGON – FFA students and advisors alike have been busy in the final quarter of the year with conventions and competitions across the board. While most of the events do center on student achievements and development, ag teachers and FFA advisors work tirelessly to ensure their students have those opportunities. It’s fitting then that three Eastern Oregon ag teachers, Stephanie Schofield, Chelcee Mansfield, and JD Cant, received commendations during the recent National Association of Agricultural Educators national convention.
The three Eastern Oregon teachers were among 39 educators to attend and among only five total teachers to receive recognition. Their commendations are as follows:
- Stephanie Schofield. Enterprise. Outstanding Ag Ed Teacher Award.
- Chelcee Mansfield. Joseph. XLR8 Participant.
- JD Cant. Imbler. Teacher Mentor Award.
