MALHEUR NATIONAL FOREST – Pile Burning will continue on the Malheur National Forest this week. The Blue Mountain Ranger District plan on burning the Starr Pluto Landing Piles, off of Forest Road 333 and Higway 395B.
The district will also undergo ignitions on the Twin and Hunt piles, according to the John Day Interagency Dispatch Center. The unit will continue to be monitored until declared out. Folks with questions can call the Malheur National Forest’s Supervisor’s Office at 575-3000.
