WALLA WALLA – A man sentenced to time served this past May for first-degree rape of a child and second-degree child molestation has a new trial set for Jan. 16, 2024. Dale Lewis Carlisle of Walla Walla faces new charges of first-degree child molestation following a recent disclosure by a different victim.
Walla Walla County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Michelle M. Mulhern said Carlisle waived his rights to a speedy trial and was released on the new charges as he has demonstrated a willingness to cooperate with law enforcement and the terms of his special sex offender sentencing alternative.
In his first case, Carlisle pleaded guilty after being accused of engaging in sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 12 between March 2013 and March 2019.
