Celebrating Life

Vicki Jo Holland, 62, of Cove, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at her residence. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Eastern Oregon Livestock Clubhouse in Union, OR. Casual dress is preferred by the family.

Vicki was born on December 1, 1960 in La Grande, Oregon to Ralph La Dell and Cecil Jean (Bertsch) Puckett. She resided in Cove, OR and graduated from Cove High School. She married James (Jim) E. Holland on July 20, 1985, together they had 2 children; Kyle and Ashley Holland.

Vicki was employed by D&B Supply for 38 years. She had a passion and love for all animals. She enjoyed all kinds of outdoor activities; going to the mountains, riding horses, camping, wood cutting, water-skiing, and white-water rafting. Vicki loved dancing and always had the perfect Christmas Tree! She was part of the 4-H program showing pigs, sheep, and horses. She played volleyball, basketball, and was a cheerleader. Vicki was also involved with coaching and enjoyed continuing watching her children at sports activities. She was their biggest fan.

Vicki is survived by her husband, Jim, their children; Ashley Holland of Cove, OR; and, Kyle (Karlyn) Holland of Cheney, WA; 2 grandchildren, Claire & Carson, and 10 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph La Dell and Cecil Jean (Bertsch) Puckett. Obituary courtesy of Loveland Funeral Chapel.
