Burns- The 2023 Christmas Parade Registration is now available. If you or your organization would like to participate in the Christmas Parade, please go to the City of Burns Facebook page and click on the form. This year the parade route will be reversed. The city of Burns planted a live tree at Triangle Park to be lit at the end of the parade. In order to make it possible, the Christmas Light Parade will reverse its direction, still lining up on Alder and beginning at Madison Street. The parade route will travel North up Broadway and end on Foley Drive at the bonfire.
On the City of Burns Facebook page is also the Christmas Lighting Contest rules and sign ups. The judging will be held Thursday December 21, 2023. 1st place will received a $100 gift certificate from OTEC and $100 credit on your garbage and water bill, 2nd place will receive $50 gift certificate from OTEC and $50 credit on your garbage and water bill and 3rd place will receive a $25 gift certificate from OTEC and $25 credit on your garbage and water bill.
