Local FFA students turn out in droves for FFA district events in Baker City

BAKER CITY – The FFA District Agriculture Sales Events were hosted on Wednesday, November 15, in Baker City and hosted by the Baker FFA chapter. Local chapters from Union, Baker and Wallowa Counties participated in various competitions related to sales and leadership, with plenty of FFA members earning high marks. Elkhorn Media Group reached out to local advisors/ag teachers from the various tri-county chapters to find out more on what their students competed in and how they performed. As of the time of writing, results for the La Grande, North Powder, Enterprise, and Joseph chapters were either posted publicly or provided directly. The results, both placement and general participation, of these four chapters are as follows:
