Evelyn Faye Greenwood, 93, of Union, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 at a local care facility. At her request, there will be no service.
Evelyn was born on March 11, 1930 in Bridgeport, Oregon to Fahy and Virginia (Yeakley) Tague. She resided in Ironside, OR; Vale, OR and Union, OR. She attended schools in Ontario, OR. On April 19, 1947, she married Steven Dick Greenwood and were married until his passing on June 6, 1986.
Evelyn was a loving wife and mother to three children. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and loved her pets and flowers.
Evelyn is survived by her children, Linda Crain of Faribault, MN, Rick Greenwood (Patty) of Union, OR and Tami Murphy (Ron Rees) of Union, OR; sisters, Theora Hensley of Baker City, OR, Theona Hambleton of Baker City, OR and Leslie Hurse of Pendleton, OR; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and her faithful companion, Maggie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fahy and Virginia Tague; husband, Steven D. Greenwood; daughter, Sherry A.
